I'm starting to feel "normal" again

I'm slowly starting to feel like "myself" again. After I made my goals recently, I've started to slowly do a few little things each day to achieve those goals. I've been knitting a little bit, walking my dog a little bit, and even exercising. I know, crazy. I think that right now, since I'm not really doing anything for my next IVF cycle, I've been able to work a little on myself.

So, right now I'm in a good place. Just got done with my burgers on the grill and am drinking a lovely Lienenkugel Summer Shandy (delish) enjoying my night.

Off to read ICLW blogs!

  1. Good for you. What kinds of things do you knit? And yum- drink a Liene's for me, too!

    ICLW :)

  2. Good for you for setting goals and sticking with them. We all need time for ourselves and, I know that I don't give myself enough!!

  3. I tried a Lienenkugel Berry weiss a couple weeks ago...Not too shabby.
Yay for taking time for you. I think a lot of time we forget to do that.
Hope you have a great weekend!!

  4. What is this beverage? I have never heard of it. Details pls? Good for you taking care of yourself. It's the little things that will build up to amount to a lot in the end. Best wishes. *ICLW*

  5. Hi Amy,
I'm so sorry to read about what happened with your IVF cycle. What a terrible blow. I'm glad to read that you're getting back to some of the things you like (knitting), etc. and gearing up for another cycle. Sending you lots of hope and positive thoughts.

  6. Knitting is just storing hugs for a cold day.

    - my great grandma.

  7. I'm sorry to hear about your last cycle. It sounds like you are in a pretty good place despite it all. Good for you!

    Best wishes your upcoming cycle.

  8. Sending you lots of good JUJU for your upcoming cycle. In the mean time keep on taking care of YOU! You deserve to be happy and do the things that you enjoy.
