Just chiming in the night before my retrieval to say that I have a cold. I'm afraid to take anything until after the procedure. I'm not happy about that at all. My husband has one too, but we've both agreed that I'm the one deserving of the sympathy here.

You know I thought I had a cold before both of my retrievals. I think it has to do with the medications because I have heard many women say the same thing. Do you do acupuncture? Mine really helped me out with the stuffiness.

My DH had a cold (we also did IVF w/ICSI - vasectomy and I'm 40...) and they gave him a bit of something in his IV to dry him up ahead of time...I only had 4 follicles, they did get 4 eggs...two fertilized...as everyone keeps telling me, it only takes one. We are also doing AH - I can't wait to hear how you did!
